Kexin is a PhD student in the Interdisciplinary program of Genetics and Genomics. She got her bachelor’s degree from Nanjing Agricultural University in 2021, where she majored in Agriculture Science. She then went to the Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences to study plant genetics, and got a master’s degree in genetics in 2024. She is now working on host-virus protein-protein interactions and host translation repression.
